Endorses Todd Gloria for San Diego’s 3rd Council District
Group is Encouraged By Gloria’s Commitment
to Environmental Leadership
SAN DIEGO, CA – The League of Conservation Voters San Diego (LCVSD), the non-profit, nonpartisan organization that promotes conservation and environmental protection in San Diego today announced their endorsement of Todd Gloria, Candidate for San Diego City Council District 3.
“Todd Gloria has demonstrated to LCVSD that he understands and appreciates the importance of promoting environmental policies at the local level,” commented LCV president Jamie Gonzalez.
LCVSD, tireless advocates for environmental justice and key environmental issues, recognize this kind of leadership in Gloria as well. Among other issues, Gloria’s energy is focused on pollution prevention, protecting homes from lead poison, preserving our canyons, restoring Chollas Creek, and responsible development.
According to Gloria, “I am honored to have the
endorsement of an esteemed organization like the League of Conservation
Voters. I appreciate their support of my campaign, and look forward
to working with them and the entire environmental community. Our
shared overarching goal is to preserve our City’s natural
resources for San Diego’s future generations.”
